The Classic 500 is pretty bare bones and I'd like to change that, just a bit. My idea is to add a tachometer, but I'm not sure if it's possible. If it is, how do I do it?

Yes, it's absolutely possible to add a tachometer to a Royal Enfield Classic 500

Yeah yeah, just takes a bit of wiring and the easiest route is an aftermarket analog or digital unit that picks up signal from the ignition coil or spark plug wire, many single cylinder setup out there that work good

There are units compatible with single-cylinder engines and wire it into the ignition coil or spark plug lead. There are even plug-and-play kits out there if you want it simple. Planning to go analog or digital?
