Just had my first green landing trip on the Himi. Carried camp gear and rode 110miles a day mainly off road to and from Salisbury Plain.

The bike was great! Ground clearance was an issue but I've ordered bits to jack it up a bit so that'll be sorted soon!

Had one whoops moment so need a new brake lever and no idea how that happened, check the pic to see what I mean!!!

Other than that, no issues and loved it!!

Here are some pics.

Nice photos, sure looks like an epic trip! Nothing beats packing up the Himi and heading offroad for a proper ride. I've had a few surprises with brake levers myself, once after catching a deep rut that threw me harder than I'd like to admit. You planning to upgrade to something stronger or just replacing it with the stock lever?

Yeah, these bikes can take a beating but always good to have a spare brake lever handy after a mishap, smart call on jacking up the clearance, one day I:d be able to relate well

Man, that looks like a blast. Always wild how brake levers break without you even catching the moment. Have more safe and wonderful travels, OP!
