Clunky shift and maintenance

just gonna put this out here, till someone else comes along
Been loving my time with my scram 411, but I figured I'd poke around and see if anyone else has run into a few quirks. Nothing major, just little things like a clunky shift here and there, some occasional hesitation on cold starts, and that ever so enigmatic "did I tighten that bolt or did the bike just rattle it loose again?" feeling. Not complaining though, part of the charm, right? but please are there any common issues I should be watching out for as I rack up more miles

Yeah man, that's Scram life, mine's the same, it has quirky shifts, cold start hiccups, and the old mystery bolt wiggle, you can keep an eye on spokes and wiring vibes as miles add up

I totally get that "charm" vibe, mine's also had its fair share of bolt gremlins too. Have you noticed any quirks with the electricals or speedo acting up as the miles climb?

Part of the charm, but not things I'd ignore. For the clukly shifting is almost always the transmission fluid, so you might as well replace it with a high quality fully synthetic oil. I'm almost certain it will smooth things out

Yes, typical Scram fare. The charm includes clumsy shifts, cold start stumbles, and bolts that loosen from vibration. If you ride rough, pay attention to the front brake feel and suspension, tighten the bolts, and warm it up before difficult shifts. Otherwise, it's a good little bike
